CHEMICALS; DO'S & DONT'S

• DO NOT mix different chemicals - Reactions may occur.

• DO NOT inhale any chemicals.

• DO NOT drink or ingest chemicals.

• DO NOT wash spills into storm water catchment areas.

• When mopping or wiping up chemical spills, mop or wipe from the outside to the centre.

• When using chemicals always read the directions for us, and read the method for use provided. If you are unsure ask your supervisor.

• Always use appropriate protective equipment and clothing.



FIRST AID. CHEMICAL ACCIDENTS.

EYES: Irrigate with copious amounts of water. Seek medical advice.

SKIN: Remove contaminated clothing, wash with copious amounts of water. Seek medical advice.

SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth with water, give copious amounts of water to drink. DO NOT induce vomiting.

INHALED: Remove to an uncontaminated area, with free flowing fresh air. Seek medical advice should further irritations continue.
